You have the option to sell your home without the use of a realtor. However, in most cases this can be a mistake. Most home owners who try to sell their homes on their own will only be able to get a fraction of what it is worth. The reason for this is simply because you are not a professional and do not know how to properly market and price your home, resulting in less interest from buyers, as well as causing it to sit on the market longer than necessary.
